This Ohio-born artist has been paining professionally
for close to 30 years. He has garnered some of the most
prestigious awards for his work from such notable organizations
as the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor
Society and the Knickerbocker Artists of New York.
Will studied his craft at Arizona State University and
later at the Brooks Institute of Fine Art in Santa Barbara,
California. Will was drafted into the U.S. Army in the
middle of his education and served in Vietnam. His first
commissioned pieces were pencil portraits of fellow soldiers,
which were sent to loved ones back home.
After school and the military service Will and his wife,
Claudia and son Mike, moved to Carmel, California where
he struck out on his own as an artist and supported his
family as a printer.
